My Whitening Skincare Routine
Growing up, I didn't always embrace havingpale skin. In fact, I disliked it so much, I would spray tanner to look darker. Except,it turned me into a carrot. Yeah. It wasn't until I hit my early 20s that Istarted to embrace my pale skin. So here's the skincare routine I use to maintain a whiter, clear complexion. So the first product I'm going to use is awhitening cleanser. This is by JUJU Cosmetics. They are a Japanese brand. And I'm just goingto use a little bit of water to make this really foam up. And then I'm going to massage this onto myface. My skin is both really dry and sensitive,
but this foam is really gentle on my skin.So just wash that off. So after cleanser, I always use toner. I'mgoing to soak this cotton pad with the solution, and then I'm going to generously wipe my facewith it. This toner has witch hazel, which is really good for minimizing acne. And Ialso use this to remove any debris my cleanser did not remove. So if my skin gets too dry, it starts to breakout. So I always apply a serum after my cleanser. This serum is the Mario Badescu Peptide RenewalSerum. I usually use three to four drops and then warm it up in my hands, and then patthis onto my skin.
To help lock in the serum, I apply a moisturizeron top. This is also by Mario Badescu, it's their Peptide Renewal Cream. I just dot thisonto my face and blend this in. Again this cream is meant to be really hydrating, sothat's why I use it. Now normally during the morning I stop myskincare routine here, but if it's the nighttime I also use a sleeping pack. This one is byLioele. It's basically like a moisturizing face mask that you leave on your skin allnight. It's really good for locking in the moisture. And I find that this keeps me fromgetting acne. So I just go to sleep with this on. And when I get up the next day, I washit off.
So to help maintain my pale skin, I also useonly one face mask. This is a brightening rice face mask by MISSHA. I apply this overmy face every two to three days. The formula is pretty thick but really cooling on my skin, and it usually takes 10 or 15 minutes to dry. While it dries, I usually do, well.wellwhatever I guess. Anything will do. And then I hop into the shower to wash it off. It alsosucks a lot of extra oil from my skin, so if you have really oily skin, this is a goodoption for you, not so much for me since I have dry skin, but I love how it brightensmy skin. So that's my basic skincare routine. So yeah,if you have any questions, please let me know
below and I'll see you next time. Bye bye!.
